Events with Humanmade

Humanmade has activities that are perfect for your group’s next outing. Our group events are designed to engage participants in transformative experiences. Attendees flex their imaginations and learn new skills in a fun environment, and with guidance from our personable and knowledgeable staff, they collaborate to make something memorable together.

Whether you have 30 minutes or 3 hours, 5 participants or 50, we have an event option that is guaranteed to help your group break away from their normal everyday routine and try something new.

Team Building

There are 50 feet from the start of the machine to a final trebuchet filled with confetti. Groups are split up into small teams. Their mission? To build all the inventions in between. Watch your participants create elaborate machines while also building strong collaboration and communication skills with these zany inventions.

3.5 hours - $125/person - 15 to 100 people

Make It - Take It: Live-Edge Wood Serving Board

Create beautiful cutting or serving boards, perfect for serving charcuterie or chopping ingredients. You will get a taste of working in the woodshop, cutting, routing and sanding your boards to the perfect shape and finish. These boards are sourced from locally grown trees harvested right within the Bay Area. You will also learn what to look for in a good serving or cutting board, and how to take care of them to last a lifetime.

Make It - Take It: Wine Box with Glass Etching Add-On

Get a taste of woodworking and laser engraving. Start out in our woodshop and use the a saw, router, and sander to create a sliding-lid wooden wine box. You can use this as a decorative case for a special bottle, or as a gift box. Afterwards you can use our laser engraver to personalize your box with your own text, logo, or image. You can also optionally use the laser to personalize a wine glass.
