Sewing & Textiles Training Sessions
Below are descriptions of all our current sewing and textiles training sessions, along with a calendar of all the upcoming scheduled sessions. If you cannot find a session that fits your personal schedule, please contact us at info@humanmade.org with the equipment you want training on, and we will try to match you with one of our experienced project specialist trainers.
Industrial Sewing Machines FSO
Industrial sewing machines are powerful production tools, able to stitch powerfully through thick and tough materials. This training will introduce you to a set of four industrial machines; the straight-stitch, walking-foot, serger, and blind-hem stitch machine.
Successful completion of the training session will certify you on the sewing machines, allowing you to book reservations at your own pace to complete your projects!
Vinyl Cutter & Screen Printing FSO
Make your own stickers, decals, and stencils. Print your own graphics on t-shirts, bags, and artwork. The vinyl cutter uses a fine knife to cut precision designs into vinyl and other thin materials. It also works well alongside the screen printing station to create stencils for printing custom graphics.
Successful completion of the training session will certify you on the vinyl cutter and screen printing station, allowing you to book reservations at your own pace to complete your projects!
