Jointer, Planer, Router FSO

The jointer and planer together allow you to make rough-cut wood clean, flat, and square - ready for use in crafts and furniture projects. This lets you use a much wider variety of hardwoods and softwoods. This training also covers the fundamentals of using the router table to create decorative and functional profiles in wood.

Shopbot CNC Router FSO

CNC stands for “Computer Numerical Control” - it’s a system that allows you to turn computer-based 2D and 3D designs into cutting instructions, allowing the machine to automatically cut and carve complex shapes and parts. Make everything from simple boxes and engravings to complex 3D reliefs in wood, plastic and foam.

Successful completion of the training session will certify you on the ShopBot, allowing you to book reservations at your own pace to complete your projects!

Wood Lathe FSO

The wood lathe is a tool that spins a workpiece around while you carve it using a variety of chisels and gouges. You can make custom handles, mallets, bats, bowls, vases, spice grinders, pens, and more.
