Woodshop Fundamentals
This class introduces you to the miter saw, table saw, panel saw, band saw, drill-press, and stationary sanding tools. This will allow you to cut and shape a wide variety of woodworking projects, everything from picture frames to table-tops.

Wood Lathe
The wood lathe is a tool that spins a workpiece around while you carve it using a variety of chisels and gouges. You can make custom handles, mallets, bats, bowls, vases, spice grinders, pens, and more.

Shopbot CNC Router
CNC stands for “Computer Numerical Control” - it’s a system that allows you to turn computer-based 2D and 3D designs into cutting instructions, allowing the machine to automatically cut and carve complex shapes and parts. Make everything from simple boxes and engravings to complex 3D reliefs in wood, plastic and foam.
Successful completion of the training session will certify you on the ShopBot, allowing you to book reservations at your own pace to complete your projects.

Pre-requisites: Familiarity with CAD modeling
Jointer, Planer, Router
This course introduces three fundamental tools for working with solid wood. The jointer and planer together allow you to make any rough-cut, solid wood into clean, flat, and square lumber - ready for use in craft and furniture projects. The router table allows you to create decorative and functional profiles in wood.
Successful completion of the training session will certify you on the woodshop jointer, planer and router.
