Additive Manufacturing class: 5pm-9:30pm, with breaks, Monday through Friday

All classes are currently held in-person at our location in San Francisco, and attendance is required Monday through Friday. Our unique program is a mix of intensive software training, and hands-on fabrication and machine training, which means it is critical that our training is in-person.

We are not able to have participants attend both classes due to limited capacity. However, many skills and techniques transfer between the two classes. Additionally, we offer opportunities to receive training on equipment and processes beyond the class materials.
-
There is no assigned homework or expectation to complete assignments outside of class time. However, all participants will have access to the materials remotely as well as access to the facility if they wish to work before/after class.

Yes, we assist you with job placement, which includes guidance and instruction on job readiness activities, assistance with job searching, and connection to opportunities within the industry.
-
Employment opportunities in the industry are vast and diverse, with graduates working in areas such as robotics, biomedical devices, jewelry making, and cabinetry. Common starting positions include Assembly Technicians, Manufacturing Technicians, Machine Operators, and CAD Drafters with an average hourly wage of $20-$30/hr.
-
There is a lot of cross-over between the skills learned in each class, and often the same opportunities will be available to graduates of both. It is common for graduates to go into positions that aren’t specifically tied to the machine they learned, and we advocate for graduates based on transferable skills, work performance, and engagement in training. The average starting hourly wage coming out of our programs is $20-$30/hr.
